The VK2-2MPXVRDIR28V12M 2MP vandal resistant dome packs an impressive level of features and functionality into it’s aesthetically designed housing. This dome can deliver up to 4 streams in multiple formats including H264, MJPEG and the latest H265 technology which allows lower band width and storage requirements for the recording solution. As well as all the normal features such as: True WDR, motorised remote set up lens, IR illumination, Alarms, Audio, Micro SD card edge storage, and PoE. The “Hi-Stream” functions offers Static and Dynamic regions of Interest (ROI) within the VK2-2MPXVRDIR28V12M dome, allows the camera to continually analyse the scene, adding more compression to areas of low interest with no motion while applying lower levels of compression to areas where motion is present, so showing higher definition in these areas. This means that lower bandwidth is required for transmission and less storage is required at the NVR.
