The small unobtrusive design of the VK2L-2MPBIR36 2MP IP66 Bullet camera hides an impressive specification and feature set, including its innovative “Hi-Stream” Region of Interest (RoI) bandwidth reducing function. Using this function allows the camera to continually analyse the scene, adding more compression to areas of low interest with no motion while applying lower levels of compression to areas where motion is present, so showing higher definition in these areas. This means that lower bandwidth is required for transmission and less storage is required at the NVR.
